The research explores the ecological afterlives of extraction, investigating how the material legacy of productive landscapes can generate new relationships between architecture and living ecosystems. Through cartographic analysis, spatial mapping and fieldwork, it examines how obsolete infrastructures can evolve from instruments of production into frameworks for ecological regeneration while preserving the memory of the landscapes they transformed.
